Certified Gottman Therapist
Licensed in Nevada, Iowa, and Florida.
In our work together, therapy won’t be about what’s “right versus wrong,” but about discovering what truly works for you. I believe therapy should be effective, practical, and grounded in what promotes real, sustainable change.
Using the Gottman Method, I help couples strengthen and enhance communication, deepen emotional connection, rebuild trust, and navigate conflict with intention and skill. Whether you're navigating the early stages of a relationship, working through betrayal, or rebuilding after a major life shift, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and purpose at any stage of your relationship.

I believe each person is unique and that their experiences, in addition to biology, help shape who they are. My background has contributed to my understanding of the connection between people and the systems in which they are involved. I learn a lot from my clients and I enjoy learning about the brain; I feel that understanding what is going on in there, particularly related to neurodivergence, is so helpful in understanding our mental health.

In my practice, I integrate evidence-based techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients cultivate psychological flexibility, learn useful skills, and build a life rich with meaning and purpose. I have experience working with both youth and adults seeking support with depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, dealing with significant life changes, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, I’m here to offer a compassionate and nonjudgmental space for exploration and growth. I have experience working with different types of trauma, people who are having trouble adjusting to new environments or medical injuries/diagnoses, those navigating acute life crises, first responders, Veterans, teens, anxiety, grief, and depression. Trauma comes in many forms and can make your life feel permanently on hold, but there is hope. I have additional knowledge and training in the areas of Traumatic Brain Injuries, which can lead to changes in the way a person thinks, feels, and behaves, as well as Post-intensive care syndrome (PICS). I believe that professional support during the rehabilitation stage of medical injuries or acute grief can be extremely helpful, as untreated trauma and grief can affect how we view ourselves and the world.

I typically collaborate with adolescents and young adults looking to feel understood and, in turn, better understand themselves. Clients I work with often have high emotional sensitivity and experience depression, anxiety, mood lability, grief, trauma, spirituality issues, and relational conflict. Together, we learn tools to increase self-validation, make behavioral changes, and reenvision life's experiences. Clients find they develop skills to cope with strong emotions, improve their emotional expression with others, and experience genuine, authentic connection.

I work with teens and adults, particularly those transitioning out of high school and into the next stages of their lives, who find it easy to show compassion to others, but struggle to show themselves the same kindness. They are often perfectionists, people-pleasers, sensitive people, and over-thinkers. I have considerable experience working with teenagers, college students, and young adults, but I enjoy working with all ages. I have completed additional training related to perfectionism, anxiety, and ADHD.
When working with me, you can expect to feel understood, supported, and gently challenged to make shifts that will move you forward. Reaching out for help takes a lot of courage and can be difficult for some. This can be because it will mean facing the reality of the situation we are in, or due to limited supports in our life. At the same time, I believe that we all have the power to make the desired changes in our lives. Because of this, I prioritize building a strong collaborative relationship with my clients. I offer a humanistic, warm, and calm presence while empowering clients to take back the lead in their lives. If you are ready to make some changes in your life and are open to self-exploration, I may be the right fit for you.
I utilize an eclectic approach which allows me to best fit the needs of my clients. I commonly accomplish this through techniques derived from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, attachment theory, psychodynamic theories, and EMDR.

Life often comes with challenges that can be hard to navigate alone. In therapy, I provide a safe space where clients can be their true selves and explore deeper into the challenges they are currently facing. Often, our childhood, relationship experiences, and current place in life influence what we think about ourselves and how we navigate the world. When people find themselves yearning for understanding and connection, therapy is a place where exploration, warmth, and validation can make all the difference. I speak English/Spanish and support children/teens, individuals, couples, and families in finding what it is they need most.
When working through attachment wounds, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, or dealing with relationship or inner conflict or maybe navigating changes in adolescence or parenthood, I use an attachment, trauma-focused, emotion-focused, and psychodynamic lens as well as utilize EMDR, IFS/ego parts work, brain spotting, and perinatal work to support clients.

There are no bad parts. I enjoy integrating a holistic perspective into my work, inspired by research addressing the mind and body connection in relation to mental health. I believe all aspects of a client’s well-being must be considered in order to ensure the most effective treatment. I enjoy providing a safe space for clients by hearing about their lives, furthering the opportunity for their development of increased self-awareness and living life intentionally.
It is essential for clients to feel comfortable exploring their lives in a space that allows them feel safe enough to be open and honest. I believe that finding healthy perceptions of ourselves, as a whole, is the key foundation to strengthening other areas of our lives.

I am licensed in Nevada with 14 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping all ages of clients with anxiety and depression, trauma, coping with grief and loss, dealing with stressful life experiences, and improving communication skills to improve interpersonal relationships. I have spent much of my professional career working with people at the end of life (hospice work). I have specialized training and skills working with clients with severe illness & disability, caregiving, and bereavement. I also have much experience working with teens and young adults with trauma. I particularly enjoy working with people in transition (e.g. divorce, health-related, job changes/loss, age-related & transitions due to a death in the family). I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Hi there! I am glad you're here. I often work with individuals and families navigating seasons of great change or deep stagnancy—times that stir inner turmoil and uncertainty. These transitions can unearth unresolved grief, anxiety, trauma, and shifts in identity, often leading to feelings of disconnection, and difficulty trusting one’s inner wisdom and direction in life. Beneath these layers, there is often a longing for clarity, peace, and a grounded sense of self—a desire to heal, grow, and move through life with resilience and hope.
I offer a space where all parts of you are welcomed—your complexities and truths. My work is deeply rooted in empathy, intuition, and respect. With a trauma-informed and integrative approach, I weave together holistic, somatic, narrative, multicultural and family systems, and existential perspectives, honoring the fullness of your experiences.

Hi -I’m Graeson Howland, CSW-I. Tired of feeling stuck in your same old negative feelings or patterns in your relationship? Whatever your goal for therapy is, you need a therapist that works with you toward a radically positive outcome. Part of accomplishing this is to help you feel safe to grow and experience parts of life and yourself that you haven't experienced before. When you do this with love and grace toward yourself, then you can heal. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you get to the root of the pain that makes you feel alone in your own home. Whether you're an individual working on your relationships, a couple, or a family it's time to learn how to create the love and connection you really want.
If you've been struggling for a while, I get it. I’m looking forward to helping you find peace after this exhausting journey.

Hi there! I am so glad you are here. My name is Elizabeth, and I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I focus on creating a personalized approach for each individual I work with. I value autonomy and strive to ensure that you feel in control of your journey, with the freedom to explore and shape the direction of our work together. If you’re feeling weighed down by depression, anxiety, or trauma, I want you to know that you are not defined by your challenges. I see you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis, and my goal is to help you discover your own strengths and inner resilience. Together, we’ll work to identify the obstacles in your way and take steps toward a life that aligns with your values and aspirations. I provide a compassionate, culturally-sensitive space where you can process your experiences, rebuild self-compassion, and reconnect with your sense of self.
My style is influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with an emphasis on mindfulness-based practices. I also integrate Internal Family Systems and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing as appropriate. It's important that as you seek care, you are fully informed about various therapeutic approaches and involved in the treatment planning process.

When beginning our work together, my intention is both to assist in the processing of present distress and to focus on building a strong, collaborative relationship. This relationship can then facilitate what I believe is a central task of therapy, the vulnerable turn toward integrating the past, increasing insight and self-understanding. Many of my clients seek support due to internal conflict and stress, difficulties around experiencing too-much or too-little emotion, relationship struggles, or repeatedly acting in ways that don’t align with who they want to be.
Although primarily grounded in the relational, emotionally-focused, and existential perspectives, I also incorporate the principles and practices of DBT, ACT, and short-term as well as long-term psychodynamic therapy. Alongside these traditional talk-therapy approaches, I am trained in EMDR, a proven and effective intervention for traumatic stress disorders.
